Engraved Hair Brushes
Gift idea: engraved hair brushes for your friends! I wanted to give my friends a little something that reflects each of their unique personalities. I’m always losing my own brushes so it’s practical, personalized and can be as unique as you make it!

Materials
Wooden hair brush
Dremel Stylo +
Acrylic Paint
Sealant
Tracing paper (you don’t need to buy this you probably have thin paper already - I used parchment paper!)
How To
Step 1
Paint your brushes with acrylic paint. Let dry.
Step 2
Make your pattern. I’m not a natural artist so I traced my designs onto tracing paper first. Pro tip: I went to font websites like dafont.com, where you can type in your exact word or name and see it in that font. Hold your paper over your laptop and lightly trace (without putting pressure on the screen).
Tape it onto the brush so it doesn’t move.
Step 3
Trace over your pattern with the Dremel Stylo+. I did one round over the pattern, removed the paper and went over it a few times.
Step 4
Spray with a sealant. I covered the bristles with saran wrap to protect them from the paint.
