The daughter of house flippers, I called seven different houses "home" by the age of 12. From an early age, I was bestowed the unique privilege of playing interior decorator to each of my seven different bedrooms.

The most impactful of these homes was the last, which we built from the ground up as a family project. My after-school hours were filled with hands-on work; whether it was grouting tile, painting walls or laying a brick floor, working alongside my mom before heading off to ballet practice.

College brought with it a new avenue for my creativity. As a lover of theme parties constrained by a student budget, I found myself diving into the world of DIY, particularly for Halloween costumes.

Today, my passion manifests in a variety of projects, ranging from decorating my rental apartment to upcycling thrift store finds, and crafting elaborate costumes. Each project, big or small, is a celebration of the simple joy of creating.

My early experiences of building and crafting not only shaped my skills but also my approach to life—always looking for the potential to create something beautiful out of the ordinary.
